For $17.50 a month ($8.07 per pay period), you will receive convenient access to lawyers for a wide variety of legal services for you and your family.
The Legal Benefit option gives you convenient access to attorneys for a wide variety of legal services for you and your legal dependents, including (but not limited to):
- Direct access to a dedicated law firm for legal consultation and advice
- Phone consultations or office consultations
- Court representation
- Legal document preparation and review
- Will, living will and powers of attorney prepared by estate planning attorney (members will work directly with an attorney to draft these documents)
- Trust preparation
- Uncontested family assistance
- Civil trial defense
- Speeding ticket assistance
- Elder care services (including estate planning)
- 24/7 emergency legal access
- Mobile app
For the services included, you pay only your monthly premium through after-tax deductions. There are no copays and no deductibles for included services. You can access additional services at a 25% discount.
You can enroll in this benefit at any time, either as a new hire or during Open Enrollment through the Alera Group Benefits Center or throughout the year by contacting LegalShield directly.
