Alera Group offers a choice of three dental plan options through Cigna. All three plans provide 100% coverage for in-network preventive dental care and coverage for basic and major dental services.
- The Basic and Enhanced DPPO plans provide coverage when you use Total Cigna PPO providers and out-of-network providers. Generally, you’ll save money when you use Total Cigna PPO providers. The Enhanced DPPO plan includes coverage for child and adult orthodontia.
- The DHMO plan provides coverage only when you use Cigna Dental Care Access Plus providers. Out-of-network benefits are not available for this plan. This plan includes coverage for child and adult orthodontia.
You can choose dental coverage for yourself, your spouse/domestic partner and your dependent children as a new hire and during Open Enrollment.
Colleagues share in the cost of dental coverage. You pay your share of the cost through pre-tax payroll contributions. You can find your costs when you enroll through the Alera Group Benefits Center.
