
Alera Group offers three dental options so you can choose the plan that’s best for you and your family.
You have three dental plans to choose from:
Cigna is the administrator for all three options.
You can enroll yourself and your eligible dependents as a new hire, during Open Enrollment, and within 30 days after a qualified life event.
With the DPPO plans, you can see in- and out-of-network providers, but you’ll save money when you use providers in the Total Cigna PPO network.
The DHMO plan provides coverage only when you use Cigna Dental Care Access Plus providers.
All three options provide 100% coverage for in-network preventive dental care and coverage for basic and major dental services.
The DHMO and Enhanced DPPO also offer some coverage for orthodontia.

The Cigna Dental Oral Health Integration Program® offers enhanced dental coverage for members with eligible medical conditions including diabetes, heart disease, stroke, and pregnancy. If you qualify, you’ll be reimbursed 100% of coinsurance for certain related dental procedures and are eligible for other perks. To enroll, go to myCigna.com, select Coverage > Dental and fill out the online registration form or call the phone number on the back of your Cigna ID card.
